Help - Broken bottom panel on new tank

I picked up a new tank ( well new to me ) today and when I got home I noticed a crack on the bottom panel. Well I filled it up and it is for sure leaking all the way though.

It is a 15g Tall tank and has a overflow on it so the replacement panel will need to be drilled as well.

Where can i go to get something like this near the Franklin/Spring hill area.

I don't think you'll find anywhere around here to get a pane of glass that isn't tempered. You'll likely have to go to Nashville. There's a place near 100 Oaks called Tennessee Glass. They're across the street from the Sears Outlet on Thompson Lane.

They most likely won't drill it either....but you can ask. I know that they shy away from drilling tanks, but if you are buying the glass from them and ask them to drill it, they may actually do it.

Where can one go to get a tank drilled or does someone in the club have experiance on this ?

I have a new 40 that needs to be drilled

What size hole?

I drilled 4 1.25" holes in my tank without any problems. Its not too bad to do on your own... just have patience with the process and use a CORDED drill. :)

You can also use a dremel and a diamond bit. You can get these bits from the tool store in opry mills mall. I've done this about 20-30 times with no problems.
