Hey all! My husband and I have decided to setup a tank in our TV room..it will be build in wall..and fishroom will be constructed behind it. We have enough room to fit either of the tanks I listed below..but we're having trouble deciding. One tank is drilled for closed loop..one is internal overflow..one is external..and one is mass produced..vs the other 2 being custom built. Price in tanks doubles from the first to the last. We can afford to get the largest tank but it will take us longer to save up some monies for skimmer and lighting etc...vs the cheaper Marineland tank which we could probably afford to have running sooner.
Plan to stock with some softies, a long tentacle anemone, some lps and maybe an sps or two. We dont want to invest in a tank that will limit us to what we can keep...or that in a year from now we will say.."I wish got the bigger one".
Any pros/cons for the closed loop system in regards to better flow? Anemone keeping?
Any input appreciated!
Thanks!
