I know people are always posting about what ro/di to buy and sorry I am posting it again.

I am kind of between these two

Item number: 4447934070, what is the holding tank for?
Item number: 4447859383, is this good enough?

Is this meter any good ?
Item number: 7750617809

any other suggestions are always welcome.

I am looking to spend around 100-130 for the ro/di

Thanks all

The tank is for drinking water.

I don't know anything about that brand but, I wouldn't recommend one with a horizontal DI chamber. They aren't as efficient.

I have that same meter, so far I'm happy with it.

The holding tank is so that it can have some ready to go. Otherwise without it you are at the rate of production the unit is rated for. i.e. if you want to fill up a jug for rinsing and it's 1 gallon, you need to wait 15 minutes for it to fill if you are a 100 gpd rate. If you have a reserve tank you just fill it up immediately. It usually runs through the di after the reserve tank. The amount of immediate available water is dependant on the reserve tank size. When it's empty, you go to the slow trickle speed.

I get 0 tds with this one: 7751016395 I also got his faucet adapter so I wouldn't have to tap into my plumbing since I rent. I just fill up two 15 gal buckets about once a month for my top off water and water change water.

4447934070 is pretty much what i got.
i would recommend the tank.
i got ours for drinking water and mixing.
for about 3 gallons the water will flow nicely, then it starts to trickle.

I have the same one without the tank and I have had zero problems with it. I use a 33 gallon tub and just poked a small hole through the lid to put the hose in and turn it on and let it go. I have mine just hooked up to the faucet by my washer and dryer that way I didn't need to go into the plumbing.

My water levels, temp must be just about perfect because it does about exactly what it says. 4.1 gallons an hour. I just turn it on and go do something else, store some for top off and move some to another tub for water changes.
