My crocea has been shut since yesterday morning..not sure what happened. He is connected to my rock so I can't take him out. My psrmsters are perfect and all other corals are fine.

Assuming this is an established clam with a healthy history....
Take a 2 or 3 liter soda bottle, clean it up with vinegar, cut some slits in the sides and cut the bottom off. Slide it over the clam and let it sit and see what you catch.

I caught my algae blenny of all things, and he was definitely the culprit. Clams just like to get picked on.

I think what he meant was clean up the bottle with some vinegar before putting it in your tank

Clean the bottle with vinegar (or just a lot of warm water) and than rinse it off good and put it into the tank. Anything else in your tank acting up?

Are your water parameters out of check? Is the clam still firmly attached to the rock it is on?

Parameters are perfect.
I came home with my sunset and rainbow monti frags, and looked at the clam..he has been open since. Not sure what happened.

Just FYI, vinegar is harmless in small doses. Many people intentionally dose vinegar as a carbon source. Either way, it is great for cleaning anything you are going to put in your tank.....
