Help! Clown hurt with spines?

Hi,

This morning my A. Occ. clown was fine. At lunch she looked like this. I have never seen this before. This pair has been perfectly healthy for a decade, never getting any illness. Did they just have a fight with a bristle-worm. Is this some type of parasite? If anyone can help please do so. Also, once we figure out what it is, any advice on what to do about it.

Oh, and a couple more pieces of the puzzle. The males has three or four of these things and this set of eggs is going to hatch tonight.
