That proves that it ingested something that killed it and ammonia is more than likely the culprit.

Thanks. It happens, was just more worried about what caused it. He also wasn't cheap. I don't know what they go for in the U.S. But here they're 27$

i have the same shrimp and after reading this, i went and looked at him.. he has black in his chest also.. I'm going through pictures now from when i got him.. i think he has always had it.
