Moved all corals from 30 biocube to 90 about 6+ weeks ago.
I have had the Duncans for 3 years with no problems.
It has been in the same spot for the 6 weeks with no problems.
They have now been closed up for 2 days and have yellow fuzzy stuff (looks like foam in the picture...but it is very frilly and stringy in person) on them. All other corals look great...including clam and sps. I also have 3 frogspawn...and 1 is also closed up.

i would quarantine that coral now, just to be safe, as i would not let time pass just waiting for a reply from someone who actually knows what it is (IE not me).

Follow up....my other frogspawns look like $#$^ upon further notice.
So 3 frogspawns and my 2 duncans....
Acans, clam, sps, brain, candys, all look well

My Duncan closed up two days ago too, just now starting to open up a little. They didnt have any thing coming off of the though.

mine too just randomly closed up last week for about 4 days & then started reopening over the next 2 days. Look perfect now & all other corals were happy.

Again tho I dodn't have that nasty looking yellow stingy stuff???

Maybe give it a little blasting to get that crap off??

Test alk. My torch, candy cane and Duncan went south real quick after my alk dropped below 6. With the ph and ca you posted, it might be ok, but check to be sure.

Never feed mine either....and I have a VERY low nutrient system.

+1
I like to keep my system ultra low nutrient as well. Not sure that will do much good now that they are all closed up any how.

I may try some spot feeding one a week, what do you feed yours?

I had a duncan and frogspawn the same situation and both are gone now. Sorry to hear that and I sincerely pray that you can get them back, because mine didn't make it.

Ok by no means am I an expert on duncans. I have hade this hapen to my duncans after a tank transfer (sssulns) when they were not getting enough food. Please rember that this coral is in the FAMILY Dendrophylliidae. This is the same family as the sun and cup corals. They need to eat!
The coral I have has recoverd and is doing ok, with a lot of food, it also looked just like the op's picture with STN and the Yellow sponge looking stuff.

Move them to the shade will help with expansion.
