HELP! Emergency

Last night I moved Brooke's tank to a new stand. This morning I found a huge crack on the back glass. It is leaking very slowly. Aghhhhhhh! Does anyone have a 29g for sale. If I can't buy one reef ready can anyone please drill holes for me.

Brooke is on vacation with her mom and sisters. I have been trying to get this tank all ready for a surprise when she gets home tomorrow. I talked to her last night and she said "I can't wait to get home and see my fish". I feel like such a jerk! I can't believe I was that careless.

Everyone has done so much to get this tank going for Brooke. I hate to impose any more, but I am so desperate. I took the day off to get this done. I will drive anywhere. I need a 29g reef ready, or someone to drill holes in glass to make an aquarium reef ready. All the plumbing is 1.5" and 3/4". Please, I need to get this done today if at all possible. PM, email, or phone 573-547-7562.

Thank you.

If anyone has a hole saw for 3/4" and 1 1/2" that I may rent, that would work if I can't buy reef ready. Hey Stupid, you may have found someone to pass on your nickname to. I can't believe this just happened.

I don't Think they make a Reef Ready 29 gal. So you will have to find someone that has it drill already or you will have to have it drilled.

You might want to call the LFS when they open and see if they have a 29 gal, available (incase no one has one available). I maybe wrong but I think Marine Solutions is the only LFS that drills tanks. PetsMart had a ton of them when I was up there last.

Just to keep the water from seeping out of the tank can you put like duck tape on the crack.. this will only buy you enough time to actually get the new tank today.

Do you know what caused the tank to crack?

while you're in town pick up a true union coupling for that so that never has to be sawed again

they're like 7 bucks @ Lowe's...I just bought a 2 incher yesterday

I drove 1.25 hours to house springs and bought one from armeygal. I then drove 45 minutes to marine solutions and had them drill the holes. Then I drove home, went to hardware store bought a can of black spray paint and painted the back. I am waiting for the paint to dry before I add everything in. I have everything in a twenty gallon with heater and powerhead except for a few rocks in buckets of sea water.

I am thinking of siliconing in an internal overflow. You know the kind with the slots on top? Does anyone know how long it would take the silicone to dry before I could add in the water and live stock?

24 hours

dont sweat the livestock in the 20g

I have had my entire stock in a 20L since thursday w heat and flow, no light

Okay good. Every time I talk to Brooke she says she can't wait to see her fish tank. I have been so stressed that she is going to come home and everything will be dead. She comes home tomorrow, and everything should be back to normal...I hope.

I am thinking of going with hose instead of pvc for the return. Any comments?

By the way, marine solutions drills glass for $12.00 a hole. I thought that was pretty good. I had first heard $30.00.

I use flex hose and will use it in my new tank this weekend. It is much easier to use and move around. good luck

that sucks. oh well- at least you got everything new now. i bought that tank from farmer a year ago and drilled it- god knows how long he had it. hope everything works out.
