Does anybody know if this PVC cement is ok to use in an aquarium? Great Blue.

I've never heard of Great Blue, so I can't comment. Sorry.

Of all the aquarium plumbing I've done (albeit that's not so great an amount), I've used Oatey brand that I've bought from Rural King here in Rantoul, and bought from Menards also. I've not had a problem with this brand.

Anyone else?

I just went to the Oatey website and they are the company that makes this cement. It says on the container that it is non-toxic. Does that mean anything in the aquarium though or is it just not toxic to people?

I didn't know Oatey had any competition... I imagine it's all the same though.

Oatey makes this stuff. I just want to know if I can use it on my PVC plumbing in my system.

You got pm, sorry I didn't see it earlier. It is a pipe thread compund I believe, and oil based at that. I wouldn't use. Go with teflon on threads and regular pvc primer/glue on slip fittings.
