i use Canon 20D with 100MM Macro Lens, looking for feedback.
i will like to keep improve my photo skill.i also have a question. i having a hard time to take a pic of my clams.(i have an acrylic tank) i cant take top down shot(LOL, first time DIY canony so didnt leave any room for picturing). is there any way to get around or technique to take a decent picture of clams?
thanks

These photos are certainly nice! Those purple ricordea are awesome! You might consider sending some my way, to see if I can get a better photograph myself. :) A little color correction could be had, though. All except the tang are too purple. This is easily resolvable in Photoshop with the Levels sliders, though. Just bump up the green channel a little. Oh... and the "Clownnut" signature is awfully distracting.

As for the clams, the problem could be shooting at an angle through the glass (or acrylic in this case, which doesn't make a difference). The tank glass/acrylic will distort the image if you shoot through any angle at all. You have to shoot perfectly perpendicular to the tank surface. Unfortunately, this doesn't make for the best colors on clams, since they all look so much nicer from the top.

Hope that helps! And keep posting, your shots are very nice!
