Help figuring out why my S. splendidus died

Hey,

I bought a Green Mandarin two days ago. It was active the first 24 hours, hovering around, feeding from the rock and so on but this morning it was breathing heavy and hardly moving at all. 16 hours later, after the lights had gone out I noticed that my cleaner shrimps were more than interested in him... and yeah he was dead.

The tank has been running for a couple of months and I haven't had any other problem with any fish invertebrate so far. None of the other fish showed heavy breathing.

I was however running my ozone at about 10mg/h for 110 gallons of water (which is considered high), but no other fish showed any signs and I turned it off as soon as I noticed the mandarins breathing.

I don't think he starved, even though he was a bit skinny. Starvation is not that quick, is it? Besides, my rock crawls with pods of different kinds. Could it be stress? As I said, he was active the first day and I never noticed any other animal bothering him.

I've uploaded a video, showing the breathing and a few pictures taken of the fish right after I scooped him up. Notice the intestine outside his rectum.

So, please help me figure out why he died. I'm sorry if anyone if offended by these pictures.
