Hello everyone, I just had my tank done cycling and add 2 maroons, This is my first salt. I was wondering where i could find some good lightning thats not that expensive. If anyone could tell me that would be very helpful. Thxs

i was told in the lighting forum that the $ 30 from ebay are not bad at all and have great color i am going to get some. that is if you are looking for SE MH. Rod told me about singel end on a HQI are great so that will be my setup. talk to him he has great stuff and awesome info.

Hello
I have a 24" hood to sell, 175 watt PFO MH,ICE CAP 430 with 2 75 watt actinic, and a IC 4" smart fan. Ready to hang over your aquarium.

I dont know what kind of corals, i would be interested in, Probably ones that are easy to go with, it is my first time i will be using corals. SO whatever is easy

If you are on a budget, I feel used equipment is the way to go. I am a DIY guy all the way, but I wanted a nice metal enclosure so I bought a real nice used dual-MH setup for cheap. Been 6 months and its best thing I ever did.

Not to mention wiring up a DIY MH which is to be installed over salt spray can be a bit unnerving... I feel it should be done well.

i suggest not to rush on lightings until you decide whether you are going to setup a reef tank or fish only tank and know exactly what kind of corals if reef is your choice. Otherwise, you will end up wasting more money.
