Help for Algae newbie please!

Just setting up my new Nano and had some questions on Algae. Got some live rocks with algae on them. I love the look but I want to make sure what they are and do I need to worry about them.

Some of the threads here are pretty scary. :eek1:

Looks like you've got a few different varieties of caulerpa on the rock. Caulerpa is notorious for being very invasive. Some people like it, but I would recommend removing it from the display.
 
I agree with most of what jimmyray stated. I like macros, so the extra maintenance involved with keeping some in my display isnt a big deal, but like he said it can be invasive, and if left alone it does have the capability of taking over. Caulerpa is also known for sporulation events which can pollute your tank, and it also releases a toxin when stems are broken so the use of carbon is highly recommended in a system which contains fish, and inverts.
