Help getting Skunk clowns to pair

I have recently acquired two adult wild caught skunk clowns. They have been fine together for the past two weeks but the more dominant clown has been picking on the less dominant one. I have them separated currently. I have witnessed some fast shaking by the less dominant clown maybe a sign of submission?

They are both roughly the same size, gorgeous. What would give me the best chance they could stop fighting and pair up. Should I allow the less dominant take to an anemone first then introduce the more dominant clown?

It is a sign of them bonding.
I was curious about my Tomato's too, and the male got pretty roughed up. Split fins but no open wounds. I heard as long as they are not locking jaws, everything will be fine.
Mine are also similar in size, but it seems as if the female has grown a bit more.
The bond can take a while. Look for excessive aggressiveness. As long as she halts the charge just before attack, it is normal. Lots of shaking and arching.

I think they're fine the way they are just make sure they don't get too aggressive. They'll pair up soon enough

I noticed the same thing with my clarkii clowns. The bigger one (female) used to bully the smaller one. After some days I saw the smaller one shaking its body. It used to seek refuge in a large Heteractis crispa I had but when I introduced a third clownfish to the tank, the clarkiis paired up quickly to keep the other clown away.
