System was working fine while I stuck with the display controller as my sole interface. Decided to "Get jiggy with it." Successfully installed a wireless to Ethernet unit. Was able to view info on my iPad, iPhone, and laptop. In an attempt to link to Apex Fusion, I was informed in the instructions to upgrade my firmware (not that it was old or anything b/c I've only had it for two months). Tried updating firmware using a Netgear wireless to Ethernet unit, come to find out that this is frowned upon :uhoh2:
So far I've tried to unplug and power down the base unit. Nothing. Luckily, all gizmos are running off the fallback settings that I established earlier, but my display unit is dead. Tried establishing a link directly from laptop to the Apex unit via the Ethernet cable, but laptop says the the connection is dead.
Any suggestions before I dissect the unit and yank out the Apex memory battery to get back to original factory settings?
