It is hard to say with the description given. could have been salinity differences, Ammonia from to many fish at once, one of the six lines took exception to the other, No QT opens up the possibility of illness or disease.

I agree. Also salinity is too high.

You do know that that Cucumber could be a problem if something happens to it?

I've been keeping Cucumbers for literally decades with no problem.

They're fine as long as they're alive.

I actually had an 18" black one get tangled up horribly in a closed loop intake years ago, and still had no trouble except almost barfing getting half of it out of the intake.
