hey i just downsized tanks about two weeks ago from a 180 to a 120. since then every thing seemed fine till about 4 days or so ago when all my lps started closing up at first it looked like stress but they keep reseeding more and more i tested water several times. and i can not find the cause of it. here are water parameters.

ph 8.15
salinity 1.025
ammonia 0
nitrate 5
nitrite 0
phosphate .25
mag 1500
cal aprox 450
kh 9.5

here are pics of how they look now and sorry if this is wrong place wasnt sure where to post it

thanks

Any fluctuations recently? Temperature, salinity or Alk?

Did you mean .25 phosphate or .025?

If you're at .25 that could be your problem? What is your phosphate normally at? Hopefully someone wiser than me can help you here.

no it is .25 based on api test kit. i have had phosphate problems in past and it only slowed coral growth. how ever i have noticed my temp has been high about 79.5 i think due to my heater being rated for my 180 gal tank. i have an older 200 watt one i will throw in there and see if that helps i usually run my temp around 76. i use a pex to control temp and ussaly keep it with in 1.5 degrees.

thanks

I would run polyfilter pad as a precaution to see if it takes out anything how's your other corals and fish?

Fish are great. I'm getting a little bleaching on monties but I am running leds and they are higher then normal. So I turned LEDs down a little and the color seems to be coming back. Birds nest looks good. Seems to be mainly Lps mostly affected polops and Sps seem fine
