I have a Bubble Tip anemone and a tomato clown. About 3 hours ago the clown and the anemone were doing fine together, but now since I turned off the light, the anemone moved and seems closed up but its still really big. I cant find my clown so Im guessing hes inside. Is he getting eaten or is he sleeping or something?? Thanks

Thanks for your help, I just found him. The anemone is hiding in the back. Hes really closed up but looks really plump, I hope thats a good sign.

Well, you did better than me. About the same time I read this thread the other day, my clownfish went missing.

When I came home this afternoon, the anenome was in the process of regurgitating my clownfish.

I'm thinking the clown fish must have been flashing in the sand and knocked his protective slime off. I've never heard of it before but have the putrid, rotting, clownfish carcass to prove it.

Always something happening in the tank. On a bright note, I found the hawkfish that has been missing for a month in the overflow when I was looking for the clown fish.
