help...i think my polyps are dying

my tank has been running for 7-8 weeks now...i bought some live rock 2 weeks ago that had some polyps or zoos on it...they used to close when i turned the lights off...now they are open all the time, wider than they usually do, and don't close all the way any more...

ammonia 0
nitrite 0
salinity 1.022
temp is between 78 n 80
they get plenty of light...

am i missing something?

Sounds ok to me. I would be much more concerned if they weren't opening.

open all the time might mean they're trying to get more light. what kinda lights you have?

salinity is a bit low...

anyway, your tank sounds very new, maybe too new for corals....

yea...i know it's really new for corals...i wouldn't have put them in but it came with the live rock i bought off of craigslist...

the lights are the ones that come with the oceanic biocube...not sure what they are

the lights say 10000k 36 watt coralife lights, one's violet the other is standard...and moon light....

they look healthy to me, although I'm not an expert

they're jus a lot more open than they used to be...and they used to close up when i turned off the lights....now they jus stay open...
