My yellow tang that I've had for several years got this white stuff near the tail after I added a few new fish about a week ago and my cardinal also has this white fuzzy stuff near the tail area where the tail and body meet.. can anyone please help me ID what this stuff is? The closest thing I found out there would be either a bacterial or fungal infection?? Please help!

This does look like a legit fungal I would treat with Kanaplex and focus. This can be dosed into the main DT bound to food but it's always better to treat in a qt

Ya I'm sure they both have the same ailment. Kanaplex can also be used with furan2 for a great anti fungal/bacterial two punch but furan2 cannot be dosed in a DT

I agree with Jdub, it looks fungal. Though fungal infections are very rare in saltwater, it does happen. Definitely not lymphoma.
