Hello,

Im having a bloom of these green algae nearly all over my rocks and a little starting on sandbed also. I did removed them nearly all one time but they have grow again so fast :eek2:

I have a chaeto in sump since 20 days but it do no seems to stop it.

It seems that there are different kind of GHA so Im asking you which one I got in my tank, maybe someone know some solutions to get rid of it ? :headwally:

Unfortunately the picture isn’t nearly clear enough to make an ID. What are your nitrate and phosphate levels? They may be low when you test the water since the algae is pulling them out of the water but it would still be beneficial to know. I suspect that you are going to need to run GFO in addition to cutting back on the amount of food you are putting into the tank.

Yes it seems thats what I got bryopsis.

Nitrate : 0
Phosphate : 0

I tested both using two different brands : Salifert and Landebao (Chinese brand).

My tank is fallow right now, fishes are in QT. 5 hermit crabs, 7 snails and 4 corals (xenia, clove polyps, zoanthids and dendrophyllia) are in DT.
