Help ID-ing this

The guy at my LSF said this would be good with my clownfish I bought the same day. I did what he said and put it in before the clownfish.. But for the life of me I can't remember what he said it was... I have googled myself insane trying to find out. Thank you in advance for the help.

You need to find a better lfs. That looks like a rock flower nem. It doesn't host clownfish.

You know that's exactly what my husband said! I think the guy was new, so now I'm even more annoyed. Now I'm going to need to hand feed this thing aren't I?

Help ID-ing this

1 of the common misconceptions is you have to feed nems. Anemones are rely on the photosynthetic zooanthallea inside to provide them with most if not all of their energy needs. You can feed them and they are fun to feed because of their feeding response is very cool to watch. But you don't HAVE to feed them.

If you broadcast feed your fish, they will most likely grab pieces from the water column and feed themselves.

While that anemone may not be a natural host for the clownfish, this doesn't necessarily mean that they wont try to make it their home though.
FWIW I currently have a Bubble coral that's playing host to a pair of Ocellaris clownfish. Before that it was a Duncan coral.

Thank you for your help! I appreciate it! Second strike for the guy at the store. He said I have to hand feed it if the fish didn't take to it.
