Hi

Over the last few days we have had an explosion of life.
These three critters have caught my eye.
I have been unable to find anything on the net to ID them.
Could you please help.

The first one I call 'brown worm'

The second critter looks like a 'red crab'

Thanks for any help you can give me in IDing them

The first one appears to be a polychaete in the family Flabelligeridae; these are filter feeders & harmless. The red crab might be a xanthid -hard to tell from the pic. The third one is interesting. I haven't seen it before so I'm not sure but the feeding tentacles certainly do suggest it's a sipunculan.

Thanks guys for the help.

Not seen anything more of these little critters.
They seem to come out to say 'Hi' then dissappear.

My partner is a bit upset as he works away all week and only gets to see the tank at weekends.
We spend hours looking for the critters that I have photographed through the week. But alas nothing.

If I find anything else I will sure post it on here, for you to look at.

Once again thinks for all your help.

Gotta check it out at night with a flashlight. If you use a red lens flashlight it wont disturb them as much. The majority of the tank inhabitants are night critters.

We have a red lens flashlight and have been looking at night and also very early in the morning.
but still no sign.

Thanks for that anyway.
