Dont pistol's have claws and wiskers....I didnt see any wiskers dont know if it had a claw.......he moved from his little hole will have to keep on checking

I agree with the above no mantis shrimp. If you were local though he could be mantis food.

I dont see ay claws...look like a grasshopper.....dont have a shrimp like tail...It wont come out of the hole...If I point the flashlight at it...it keeps backing up....deep hole in the rock

to get it out, when it is dark, put a chunk of shrimp or squid on the end of s scuer and when he comes out, use your flash photography!
