my 1 year old SPS nano (29g) tank is doing well. it's a bare-bottom low-nutrient system (polyp labs), tunze skimmer, multi-controller, etc. i do daily 3% water changes. lit by 250W HQI XM10K plus a pair of T5 actinics. i keep the dKH at 10 and Ca at 430 with Bionic. also dose tropic marin 2 part vitamins...
the tank is all monti's, birds nests, and stylophora plus a BTA with a ocellaris (no other fish).
anyway, i just noticed ketchup-colored critters running around one one portion of a rock the other day and they have doubled in apparent population in just a week. (now on multiple rocks).
they're just 2 - 4 millimeters long. they seem to have sort of a pair of horn-like points on their head (or it might be their tail). don't see any damage and do see them on any corals... but obviously i'd like to know what they are...
they don't look like the pics i've seen of monti-eating nudis nor red planaria (they are longer and more colorful).
sorry i don't have a macro lens!
thans for any help!
