Looks like a small piece of rock with a couple of strands if macro algae of some sort!
Wow!

If it's growing all over your tank it is either an newer setup, higher nutrients esoecially phosohate and or too intense light, or too long in any combination.

What are your nitrate and phosphate levels?
Got corals in the tank?
and more details about the system/age/size/equipment,etc...
