Help ID this snail

I recently notice some new hitch hikers, I'm guessing a shot in the dark as a bumble bee snail. Any ideas?

Engina species, probably Engina histrio. They are related to the Bumblebee Snails, but probably belong in a different subgenus. They are true buccinid whelks, but apparently only feed on tiny organisms in your tank. One or two shouldn't be a problem, although a tank full might be.

Cheers,

Don

I have had these for about 6 years now. They reproduce but never grow into a huge population. It seems the food source is very specific, and they eventually form a stable population. In my 180, I would put the population at about 40.

They come out at night and graze something off the rocks, but it's too small to see whatever they are eating.

They won't be a problem.
