Help ID this wrasse

Can someone help me ID this fish? It was sold to me as a clown wrasse; however, I've seen clown wrasse appearing on line much different than this one. Please advise. Thanks!

That's one of the problems with common names, they can be used for more than one fish.

Advanced Aquarist Online has this shot of the Rainbow.

Thalassoma quinquevittatum is the correct ID; juvi.

I wouldn't even think about putting it in a reef, IMO.

Thanks, everyone, for the assistance in identifying this fish. This fish is going in my 150G, which is being converted from reef to FOWLR. He doesn't seem to bother any other fish, although he's the fastest guy in the tank. During feeding, he zooms all over the tank to the point I get dizzy just following his swimming movement....

Thanks again for the quick responses!!! This forum ROCKS!!!

Just keep an eye on him for aggression once he matures. Thalassoma are known to remove the eyes of another fish if they make them angry.
