What is that white thing on the rock?

What kind of zoas are these and what is that white ball between them

I dont know...but, those are some nice looking zoas though.

I will guess sponge or tunicates. As sponges grow mainly in the dark areas I would favor Tunicates.

The second one looks like the sponges I have growing on the walls of my sump, not sure on the first.....

I would have to guess the first one as some type of encrusting sponge, Its hard to tell in that pic. The second one is a Q-tip sponge, just a harmless filterfeeder and a sign of good tank health.
