I hade this mushroom rock in main tank until I noticed what looks like red seaweed growing on it. I moved it into my new refugium next to the red grape macro and now it has doubled in size. Its red in color with wide leaf. Sorry no picture yet, still trying to figure that out.

I could ask the kids to help on the picture thing.

Hey Dave
Just to give you an idea, people have a hard time ID' red macro algae even with a picture sometimes. Granted there are a few that predominantly show up in the hobby but there are some... Basically, unless you can be overly, thoroughly descriptive with words, your(we) are gonna need a picture, or at least a sketch/drawing. If I recall correctly, www.wetwebmedia.com has some pretty good links that could help you with a few brief searches.
