Was taking some pictures today and came across this little thing on my Hairy Muchroom.

nice macro shot.....looks to be its mouth.....zoom out a little....cant really tell but IMO looks to be the mouth

It dont look like its hooked to the Mushroom its just sitting there, just went out to the tank to shot another picture and its gone

I agree that's the mouth; it looks exactly like mine.


I didn't see the post that you said it moved! Mine has always been in the middle of my mushroom. It tends to stuff food into it. I'll have to take a better look at mine.

Maybe the Mushroom was yelling...... If its his mouth Ive never seen it open like that

Got a better look at it today....Yep Def Mouth......maybe need to start feeding more....

I occassionally see my shrooms do that...not quite sure why. Sometimes they're even "spitting their guts out" as I call it...primarily after I've moved them and they're a little upset about it.
