Just picked this guy up today but it was labeled under assorted carpets. Now there are many different types correct? I was wondering if anyone knew what type this guy is so i can adjust some flow, etc since i've heard some like lots of current and some of them don't much at all. whoops forgot picture..... he seems to be a pastel blue/green

Looks like a Stichodactyla haddoni! They like to be close to sand bed at rock/sand interface.Like low to moderate flow.Todd will for sure have more info than this about these guys so mabey he'll respond!

Like others have mentioned, it is a Haddoni.

IME they are fairly sensitive to too much flow, it will cause them to either withdrawal or move.
Also, like was mentioned, they are sand dwelling anemones, all of mine are right at the rock/sand interface.

What lights is your under? And what lights was it under? Are you acclimating it to your lights?

Overall it doesn't look too bad, a little on the light side but nothing to be concerned about.

Was that picture taken right after it was put into the tank? If so, no big deal. But, if it has been in there for a while, don't like its position all that much.

ya pic was 5-10 minutes after putting in tank , its a 125g tank 2x 450w MH 15k's, not sure on the lights it was under, it came from a wholesaler. i put it under medium flow, the lower flow side of the tank. its staying put so far.

Did you mean 250 watts? Never heard of 450 watt bulbs.

I would suggest acclimating it to your lights, sure it has been under a lot stress coming from a wholesaler.

I prefer using window screening, 3 layers with removing a layer every 5-7 days.

not looking so hot this morning now....go figure i really do have bad luck with stuff. but i did put screen on it now to aclimate it to the light
