Help identify spot of clown

Can someone help identify what this whites pot is on my son's clown? It's hard to see but it is on the side of it's face and it sticks outward. The clown is eating and acting normal. He bought it about a week ago. His tank is @ 1 month old. His water parameters are all normal. He has a 36 gallon bow front with this clown, an anemone, a watchman goby and a trump coral. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a better photo it looks like a white cotton spot sticking out on right side Anyone?

Maroons have spines on their cheeks. Any chance this is just a bit of schmutz/drek impaled on one?
