help identify the tang ailments

I got this tang from live aquaria over a week ago on thursday 4/19. It had all of these various ailments when it arrived. I have not seen it do any flashing, it does not have "fast" breathing, and has been eating flakes, nori, and mysis. It also swims fairly actively and likes to dart in and out of the tanks pvc pipes and filter, etc.

Starting immediately on 4/19 I have been treating with maracyn plus and stress guard. On days 1, 3, and 5 I dosed both. I then did a water change on day 7 and dosed prazipro. I did another 50% water change today.

I also have lowered salinity to 1.008 since 4/21 as I believe it may have ich, but I haven't seen any of the "bumps" go away, and they seem to be getting slightly bigger. They do not have the "cotton ball" look of lymphocystis.

The various bumps and sores do not really seem to be getting better. If anything, "new" things seem to be forming, like the sunken red hole/crater on the face just under the right eye. Also note the damage near the tail on the right side, they are like sores/bumps.

I could use a hand identifying what I've got going on here and how to treat. Iphone pics are the best I have, as I do not know how to use my wife's pro camera and macro lenses (and she's not able to get pictures right now).

It's a bit hard to see from the pictures but do these bumps look like "horns/hooks"? If I see right they look like such and is probably what I had on my BT and YT.
I am 70% sure they are some type of worms and I will explain why.
First I thought they are some kind of big Cryptos and I started treating with copper /cupramine/. However after 4 weeks of 0.5-0.6 ppm of copper /tested with 3 copper test kits/ the parasite still existed. What I've noticed though is that after few days on fish the horns had a little "tail", like a piece of very thin fabric sticking out of the parasite (not from all of them though). This could be seen only if you look really close.
Then I thought it could be a worm and I treated with PraziPro. I know that it is less effective when used in conjuction with copper but I decided to give it a shot. First Prazi treatement seemed to reduce some of the visible big white bumps, but did not eliminate all.Actually the reduction of spots could be just from the parasite cycle when it drops off fish after few days, but who knows. I waited 5 days, did a second treatement of Prazi with 15% higher dose than the first one. During the first 3-4 days nothing changed, but after that for some reason I did not see any more white bumps for 2 days. I though that it is just the regular parasite life-cycle and decided that I had to change the treatement route and try CP. I did 100% water change to remove all the copper/prazi, I cleaned the bare bottom really well, which may have removed most of the cysts laying there, if there were any. I decided to give the fish couple of days rest from medications till I dose the new one - CP. The 2 days became 7 days now free of medications and I do not see any visible sypthoms but some fast breathing, which may be from the high nitrites - 2ppm /no ammonia however/.
So honestly I do not know if my fish are still infected and they will show some sypthoms later on or if they were cured. And if they are healthy again I really cannot say for sure if it was Crypto or worms and what was the cure for it - copper or prazi or both.
But I decided to share my experience cause it may help with your treatement as what you have looks really similar to what I had/still have. Good luck.

Well fortunately I'm using hyposalinity to treat Ich if that's what it is. Maybe I'll continue treating with prazi pro then. I was debating if I should try a formalin or methlyne blue bath.

Ok so I have given him a methylene blue bath for 15 minutes, followed by a 30 second RODI dip. The "bumps" on him mostly came off, so they definitely appear to have been some kind of parasite. They left open sores on him, so I've once again dosed maracyn and stress guard and continue to use prazipro. I'll probably give him another dip tomorrow as there are still a few bumps left on him.
