Help identify this worm

I have seen this worm, mostly when the lights go out but I recently found him out during the day so I snapped some pics. I need help identifying him and I need some ideas of Do's and Dont's for getting him out.

Looks like a peanut worm to me. Leave him in the tank, very beneficial part of a clean up crew.
