Help Identifying Algae Growth

Hello,
I have light green algae growing all over my rocks and this dark brown dots of algae are beginning to grow all over my rock. Before it spreads too much I am trying to identify it and figure out what is going on with my tank. Can someone help?

Well.. a picture would help..
BUT
Algae is 100% normal during a new tank (cycling and as its maturing)..
Normally.. if you keep water parameters inline (no phosphates/low nitrates) it will go away with time and a clean up crew will eat it too..

Typically first come diatoms.. then algae (usually hair algae..sometimes bubble).. and you may get cyano bacteria (red/green/blue slime) during that time too..

Many run GFO to remove any phosphates from the system..

It "may" be coraline algae too which can start a bit green but is usually purple/maroon

Are you using RO/DI water (good)? or tap water (bad)?

oops.. didn't see your double post..

Sorry, I posted this one on my phone and was not able to attach the pictures. I posted a second post with pictures using my computer. Here are the pics!

Right now I am running Phosban GFO on my two little fishies Phosban Reactor. I use RO/DI water, I checked my phosphates last night and they were less than .03, but I have read it could give false readings when algae is present. I have a clean up crew and a refugium with cyano.. I am hoping this helps, but I just got over a diatom algae outbreak from the initial start up. I am not sure why this is happening again.

again.. totally normal to go through a few stages with a new tank..
It will go away just like the diatoms.. Keep working on those phosphates/water changes,etc...
Totally normal..
