This algae has been growing on my glass. It was on my rocks, but I was able to remove it. I also directed my powerheads directly onto the rocks. Here is a little background on the tank:
-Fluval Edge 12 gallon
-Started it Oct 2013
-Moved it to a new location at the end of July 2014
-I didn't remove the rocks or substrate. I just drained the tank to a level where I could transport it.
-I use RODI water and the TDS always reads 0
-Reef Crystals salt
-I feed every other day. Mostly frozen mysis shrimp.
Is it green hair algae? Most of it is a brown color.
