I have a 3 Queen Purple Anthias that been eating good regulatory 4 to 5 times a day. One of them last night just started looking off.

The tank ius a 40 gallon breeder that I am in the prosses of becoming a Frag tank as been going on for 3 months water came from a 20 gallon tank that was 6 months old.

Symptoms are gray scaly scabs on the back of the gills and on top of in front of the dorsal fins and there seems some spots on the body that look like there something wrong.

Both Ammonia and nitrates tested 0 Water temp is 82 to 83. salinity is at .024

Cannot get a good picture yet will be coming.

Well not a response and she died this morning not sure what it was but it does not seem to have spread yet to the other 2. I did go ahead and treat the tank with Prazipro yesterday not sure if that would have helped or what.

Tough to diagnose from the pictures - could have been flukes, or it could have been a bacterial infection of some sort. On top of that, Purple Queens are tough to keep in captivity due to their feeding requirements, so it's difficult to say for certain.

Thanks yeah not sure feeding they were eating 4 times a day. she passed fast saw the stuff on her treated with prazipro and she died 2 days later stopped eating as soon as the stuff on her showed up. But the other 2 are doing fine. Will be treating the tank on Thursday after a water change as it as been suggested after 5 days for flukes if it was even that .
