Help identifying coral type

First I would like to apologize if i have posted this question in the wrong forum. I was recently given a 30 gallon saltwater tank with some live rock and some damsels. There is some coral that is growing from a rock that I have not been able to identify, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been adding Marine Snow planktonic food 2-3 times weekly to the tank, about a teaspoon. Is this the coorect type of food? I just found a good saltwater tank supply store in my area, but it is Sunday and they are now closed, thanks again for any help.

yes a gorgonian, but I guess not of the last mentioned types.
