Help identifying please

Hi all sorry if I didn't post the picture correctly or place in the right forum section I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this It's black squishy and at first glance it looked almost like a tiny pincushion urchin thanks!

Possibly a tunicate. Can't tell from the pic. Is it moving? If so, not a tunicate.

Yes it could be a tunicate or sponge based on the description so far..

(picture didn't come through).. Edit.. Looks like you are trying to edit the picture right now..
Sure looks like a sponge from what I see..
