I've been baby sitting some fish in my tank it seems that this guy isn't really doing well I caught him early when he was actually out 5am pacific time. (The tank is lights out at that hour) Got him into my 10 gal tank at the moment.

he has blotches of white. So question in, can this be Marine velvet? Heees a pic of mine

Him in my tank before I got him.

Then here's a pic I found a website selling . (Prices and site is blacked out)

Also notice white splotches on there livestock pic.

I know some blennys and gobys change color due to stress but every other fish I have is doing fine. 2 false percs, watchman goby, chromis, blue tang are doing great no signs of stress or unusual dicoloration.

Awesome I'm starting too feel a lot better biut this situation. Removing him from his current home probably stressed him out even more now that he's in a smaller tank

I suspect he'll be fine. Are there other fish in the tank with him? When I first got my Tailspot, he was very reclusive. Now that he's with other fish, he's front and center almost all the time.

Yea he would be perched on the rock during daytime.. I think it was me waking up early to go check on the tank and saw him front of the tank chillin. early signs of being a reef junkie maybe?

Sounds like he'll be fine. Enjoy your blenny, they have tons of personality.
