I got a small piece of LR with a few bubbles on it. im trying to get a picture to help you but im having a bit of trouble getting a good picture. the bubbles are clear and soft and appear to have water inside of them. the largest of them has some green debris that float around inside. there are about 5 and vary in size from about 2-3 mm to the largest being around 10 mm. Any thoughts or ideas gang?

Here is a pic of one that was floating around the tank

Is it slimy? Looks like an egg of some sort. Maybe a snail egg? I would gather them all in a separator inside the tank and see if they hatch.

its not slimey but the shell is very flexible.. i took the one out that was just floating around and am going to leave the others in..

yeah im hoping its going to be a great present but with my luck its going to be an egg of some horrible creature that will climb out of the tank at night.. go in to the shed and get the chain saw and kill us all .... lol

I once found a weird looking egg thing that came with some FW plants and when it hatched it turned out to be leeches (I think). I then spent some time fishing them out.

I would suggest putting them in separate container and when / if they hatch, you'll have the choice to release them into your display.

thanks for the help and insight. I am just starting to cycle and will prob only have just the rock for a while till I set up a final game plan. I'll keep you all posted on the mystery blobs. If they do happen to grow or hatch I'll post some pics of the little devils

ok I have an update on the bubbles. One burst last night and now i see a small white creature crawling around the glass. It kinda looks like a snail without a shell. When i get home from work ill post a pick to help ID it
