Hello all. Brand new to this forum but not to saltwater aquariums. However, I am new to keeping a reef tank. Can any of you help me ID these hitchhikers.

first pic looks like an Xenia. . . the second I was leaning toward a paly of some sort but it kinda looks like a Majano as well. Can't say for sure, someone more familiar will most likely chime in.

First is a clove polyp coral (that will spread and likely become a weed)..
Second is a type of aiptasia anemone..

Both should be removed IMO..
First is really up to you.. but second is considered a nuisance that should be removed..

The second pics I believe to be zoas and yellow polps. I had some yellow polyps years ago, and they do well, but spread like weeds in little time.

Any of them worth fragging?

The first is a coral that people do pay money for (not much but they do).. Once it spreads (and it will) you will need to cut that rock into pieces to frag it though..

The second is a nuisance anemone and is not something people pay for..

Get them out/KILL now IMO..

Article made me question having Zoas in my tank. Having second thoughts as I type this. LOL!
