Help ID'ing

I have tried to ID but i dont know what to look for here If someone could narrow the list a little anbd i'll have another crack at it

Couldn't get any good front on shots (little bastard is faster than light i swear)

Got him as a hitchiker from GBR LR

Any help will be appreciated

Okay possibly G. Smithii but i'm not possitive. Definantly had meral spots, ringed with white (i remember thinking it looked like 2 massive eyes when he was hidden in a dark spot) but not possitive of the colour. the words they use I have to keep looking up it makes it hard

definitely looks like a mantis shrimp...google it and im sure you'll find it

it is a G. smithii. the meral spots (you can see a bit of one in the second pic) is dark purple ringed in stark white. N. oerstedii has similar merals but a duller purple. another distinguishing characteristic of G. smithii is the two little red/pink bumps on the telson (tail end). i believe that that is what i am seeing (one of the two bumps) in the third pic.

wow, i just read a lil more carefully and realised you got this guy free as a hitch hiker... man, what a find. smithii is sort of on the high end for mantis demand. great mantis, i love mine.

Thanks guys! I really suck at that kind of thing. for me it's the back end and the front end Yah he was a hitchiker but unfortunately he showed up in the first 4 days of my cycle so im working like hell to get him through it
