Help, I'm losing fish.

Monday I lost my first fish. It was a Copperband Butterfly. He died after a few days of not eating, but I don't think he died of malnutrition. I had him for a month and a half. A few days prior to his death he seemed lathargic and his mouth was often slightly parted (but he wasn't panting). He would respond to food in the water, but wouldn't eat. And he seemed at least partially blind (I tried to startle him as a test).

Now my Kole Tang seems to be exhibiting some of the same behaviors. But she's still eating well. I've had her for at least a few months.

Thoughts? Help?

TIA,
Chris

Please, someone, help me out here. I'm willing to do whatever is necessary to save this fish (and the rest of my fish), but if I don't know what I'm treating, I don't know what to do.

My Kole Tang seemed to be slightly disoriented this morning (swimming on her side). I think I saw her scratch a couple of times, but that may have been her disorientation. She seems more pale than usual, but she has been eating fine.

The most obvious sign of a problem (aside from the odd swimming) is that she seems to have developed pale blotches on her side fins and tail fin. They show up well under actinic lighting, but aren't nearly as obvious under full the lights.
