Help in identifying a problem

The corals were growing well and nothing is changed in chemistry or alighting.
In the beginning I was thinking that Blue tang causing this problem by ripping them, but now looks like something else going on.. All other corals are in perfect shape. I do not see that something eats them, they just covered with dark white film

I don't see the white film.
My Purple tang does nip on algae from some zoas here and there.
They close for a while and come back.
I wouldn't do anything and wait.
You could try to remove the fish and see what happens.
