I just purchased new Reeflux 250w SE bulbs. I am installing them and cannot figure out how to get all the bulbs to end up in the same position. I had read that you want all of the bulbs to end up with all the "nubs" pointed up? Is this corrrect? If so, how do you do it? Please help!
They don't need to be directly up. There is a 45 deg area on top where they can point without problems. If that isn't possible, there is a metal contact in the ceramic socket that can be bent out a bit to make contact sooner. You don't need to crank the bulb in as far as they can go. Just good contact. Be gentle with it if bending is necessary and make sure the unit is UNPLUGGED!
