Help - is this velvet?

Can someone help me id this parasite or bacteria? My clown fish looks like someone rubbed him with a eraser...

if its velvet the entire fish will look like its covered in a layer of dust.. if its white dots its usually ich.. copper treatment will usually take care of both

It's not spots, it looks more like skin color change... Like he had some bad road rash. Do you think it's velvet? No signs of spots or anything like that.

No he isn't. He shows no signs of stress still eats and all just color change... Golden brownish top fin and head.

If he's still alive I may say I doubt it's velvet, velvet doesn't mess around

Brooklynella? Since it's a clownfish and that's common with them.

But then you say it's still eating so might not be that either, is he in quarantine?

I don't think it's Brook. He seems to be doing fine, eats and super active. He is in my 2nd tank now with less fish. I think he was getting beat up in my main tank.

How's he doing? Maybe a less fuzzy current picture will help pin it down?

He's still doing great. Still looking rough but eats like a champ. I'll post a picture later on today.
