Hey Guys

I have a 650 litre tank, being new to the marine hobby silly me was not quarantining anything going into the tank, now i have Tangs with white spot and i can start to notice others getting distressed as well such as my butterfly fish, lawn mower blemmie amongst others. How do i fix this, can i quarantine them all in a QT tank together and treat accordingly. Any advice would be wonderful :)

Hopefully others can chime in with better answers. I thought though that tangs in particular were hard to quarantine with their eating requirements.

The only method people use that I know of is that Tank to Tank transfer method. Do you have any other tanks in the house, or spare pumps/sponge filters?

Also, you didn't mention if this was a FOWLR tank or one with corals etc. as well? I would presume if there were no corals in the tank you might be able to treat them in the display.

You need to remove all the fish, treat them in a separate hospital tank and leave your display tank fallow without fish for 72 days. No short cuts here, this is the price you pay for skipping the quarantine process.
