HELP - Kalk Stirrer

I purchased a used Fishbowl Innovations kalk stirrer from a local hobbyist. I believe it is magnetic. Ive cleaned it inside and out; filled it with vinegar diluted w/ water and plugged it in. After about 30-40 secs, it stops spinning.

Is this normal? Is it supposed to constantly spin? It doesnt spin again, unless unplugged and reconnected!

Yep, should be on an internal timer. After mixing you want the mix to settle out and drip from the clear portion on top.

Search the modle to find out what the timer is set for and adj your top off timing so it dosent run durring the mix/settle cycle.
